Two joined sheets, together comprising a chart of the Gulf of Saint Malo and the coasts of the Cotentin peninsula: Admiralty chart 58: '... from the Isle de St. Marcouf to Cape Carteret. (Copied from French Publications) including the Islands of Guernsey, Alderney, Sercq [sic, Sark] & Herm ...'; and part of [Admiralty chart 59]: '... from Cape Carteret to Cape Frehel, including the Island of Jersey ...'. Reference table to tides. Compass rose. Both charts surveyed by Captain Martin White, Royal Navy. Admiralty chart 59 engraved by J and C Walker; published at the Hydrographical Office, Admiralty, 1 May 1826; corrected to 1831. Printing and publication information about Admiralty chart 58 has been obliterated by the joining of the two sheets.
