Description

Hampshire: Alverstoke. Two plans showing a proposed fort and batteries on Stokes Bay, with lines of fire; also showing houses and field boundaries. Scale: (1) 1 inch to 90 yards [1:3,240]; (2) 1 inch to 45 yards [1:1,620]. Compass indicator to item (1). Both plans by Thomas Yeakell. Dimensions: (1) 105 cm x 147 cm; (2) 124.5 cm x 148.5 cm.
