Wales. 2 sheets of the Ordnance Survey 1:2,500 County Series joined: Glamorganshire [LI.3] and part of [XLVII.15]; the combined map shows areas north and west of Lavernock Point. Surveyed by Captain H C Reynolds, Royal Engineers, 1878; levelled by Captain W Wynne, Royal Engineers; zincographed at the Ordnance Survey Office, Southampton, under the superintendence of Lieutenant Colonel C P Carey, Royal Engineers, 1879. MS additions, coloured, showing War Department property at Lavernock Fort and the site of an emplacement for an electric light. Signed by Captain Calsow, 30 January 1880; Colonel Phillpott, 31 January 1880, and Colonel [?Porter], 3 February 1880.
