Plan of Ladysmith Township shewing approximate routes of Railway and proposed sites of Road Bridges'. Scale: 1 inch to about 300 yards. Signed: George Shortrede, District Engineer, 5 February 1866. (2) 'Section of Klip River at proposed site of Road Bridge'. Scale: 1 inch to 30 feet [1:360]. (3) Map of Ladysmith and areas immediately to the south, showing the layout of the railway line, a possible diversion, and the direction of an extension towards Newcastle.
