County Durham: River Tees. (1) 'Supplemental plan' showing lands belonging to Greatham Hospital adjacent to the river and other property in the district. (2)-(3) 2 plans showing reclaimed lands on the north bank of the river, the proposed site for a road and railway, the high water line, embankments, bridges, sluices and adjacent owners. An inset shows a section through the centre of land to be purchased from Lord Elson with high and low tide levels. Scales: (1) 1 inch to 293.3 yards; (2)-(3) 1 inch to 25.34 feet, inset 1 inch to 10 feet. Compass stars on (2)-(3). Surveyed by G Pemberton Leach and Thomas Fenwick. Lithographed by B H Heslop, Stockton. Sheet sizes between 43 cm x 33 cm and 89 cm x 220 cm.
