Lancashire: Spotland. Three maps of the estate of the late James Greene, as allotted by commissioners, showing names of adjacent owners. Scale: 1 inch to 6 chains. Compass indicator. Surveyed by William Johnson and son, Manchester, 1830. On a single sheet, which measures overall 153 cm x 368.5 cm. (1) Manor of Turton in parish of Bolton-le-Moors, 153 cm x 311.5 cm, less 49.5 cm x 76 cm in the top right corner; (2) Spotland, 49.5 cm x 76 cm; (3) Manchester, 153 cm x 117 cm. Signed by the Commissioners, John Ashworth, Robert Daglish and William Johnson, 18 February 1832, and endorsed and sealed by them. Referred to in the Chancery suit Frere and others v Greene.
