Middlesex: Westminster (now in the London Borough of Westminster). (20) Plan, in 5 sheets joined, showing improvements at Charing Cross, including the widening of the Strand near Exeter Change; the widening of Buckingham Court and Downing Street; and the extension of King Street. Scales: 1 inch to 20 feet and 1 inch to 40 feet. Certified by the Speaker under the Charing Cross Act, 1826 (7 George IV c.77). Endorsed 'Parliamentary Plan. Property required for Strand Improvement, Downing Street, Exeter Change, King St and Buckingham Court' and '79/26'. (1) Sheet annotated 'The plan deposited under the Act is in Rack 26/No.79'. (2)-(19) A 'Book of Reference' to the various properties to be purchased.
