Viceroyalty of the Río de la Plata: Banda Oriental (now Uruguay): Montevideo. Four maps: (1, 4) show the town and promontory; (2-3) also showing the adjacent coast. Scale: (1, 4) 1 inch to about 80 yards [1:2,880]; (2-3) 1 inch to 400 yards [1:14,400]. Compass indicator on each sheet. Based on a survey by the Royal Engineers under Captain H Elphinstone.
