Map of central and south-eastern Europe, in three sheets joined: 'Danubii Fluminis (à fontibus prope Doneschingam usq: Posonium urbem designati) Pars Superior ...'; 'Danubii Fluminis (ab urbe Lentia usq: et ultra Bydenam urbem cum influentibus fluviis delineati) Pars Media ...'; 'Danubii Flumini (hic ab urbe Belgrado per Mare Nigrum usq: Constantinopolim defluentis exhibiti) Pars Infima ...'. Shows area from eastern France to the Black Sea, between latitudes 41°40'N and 49°40'N. Titles in upper margin. Scale: 5.5 cm to 15 common German miles; scale bars also in Hungarian, Italian and French miles. Compass indicators. 'A Joh. Bapt. Homanno S.C.M. Geographo Norimbergae. Cum Privilegio Sac. Caes. Majestatis'. This may be the edition published in 1730. Endorsed: 'In M r. Robinson's of 24 th Nov r. [1736]'. A similar map in three sheets with a title in French was published by Homann in about 1720. Dimensions of sheets: each about 47 cm x 55 cm.
