Shows area from eastern France to the Black Sea, between latitudes 41°40'N and 49°40'N. Titles in upper margin. Scale: 5.5 cm to 15 common German miles; scale bars also in Hungarian, Italian and French miles. Compass indicators. 'A Joh. Bapt. Homanno S.C.M. Geographo Norimbergae. Cum Privilegio Sac. Caes. Majestatis'. This may be the edition published in 1730. Endorsed: 'In M r. Robinson's of 24 th Nov r. [1736]'. A similar map in three sheets with a title in French was published by Homann in about 1720. Dimensions of sheets: each about 47 cm x 55 cm.
