'Japan Economic Map (1): Imports Showing Volume of Imports for 1933': covering the Japanese islands, Japanese overseas possessions, and neighbouring countries as far south as New Guinea, showing the origins, routes, and volumes of various commodities imported into Japan, including coal, pig iron, zinc, special steel, hemp, jute, manilla, beans, salt, phosphate rock, potassium chloride, and rubber Reference tables; reference notes on the Japanese ports of entry. Scale: 1 inch to about 110 sea miles. Prepared by Intelligence Division, Naval Staff, under the superintendence of Rear-Admiral J A Edgell, OBE, Hydrographer, January 1935.
