Enclosure award of 3 July 1856 for Fountains Earth Moor, Kirby Malzeard, Yorkshire, pursuant to 13 & 14 Vict c 66: preamble and schedule of allotments (13 sheets) compiled by George Henry Strafford, Land Surveyor, Ripon, Yorkshire, 2 December 1855. Enclosure award map shows roads, boundary stones, allotments, plot numbers, trigonometrical measurements. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. Compass indicator. Signed by G H Strafford, Surveyor etc, Ripon, Yorkshire. Outlines examined and approved 16 September 1851, and allotments examined and approved 8 November 1855, by Lt Col Robert K Dawson, Assistant Enclosure Commissioner. Stamped in the office of the Enclosure Commissioners on various dates in 1854 and1855. Approved and sealed by G Darby and W Blamire, Commissioners of Enclosure, 1856.
