3 items extracted from CO 54/528. Ceylon (now Sri Lanka): Colombo. 1 map and 2 plans. (1) Plan showing the state of the harbour works on 15 October 1880. Reference notes on complete and incomplete masonry. (2) Map of areas to the north and south of the town, showing the harbour, rivers, lakes, and railway lines and stations. Compass indicator. (3) Plan of a breakwater showing the proportion already completed and an extension to it proposed by Colonel Fryers. Compass indicator. Scales: (1), (3) 1 inch to 66 feet [1:792]; (2) 1 inch to 16 chains [1:12,672]. Signed: (1) Charles Good, 15 October 1880; (2),(3) Colonel A B Fryers, Royal Engineers, Surveyor General, 21 October 1880. Dimensions: (1) 33 cm x 120 cm; (2) 235 cm x 73 cm; (3) 96 cm x 234 cm.
