Enclosure award of 10 November 1865 for Plenmeller Common, Northumberland (4 sheets), compiled by James Girdwood 7 November 1865. Witnessed, signed and sealed by G Ridley, Sir James Caird and G Darby, Enclosure Commissioners, 10 November 1865. The enclosure award map shows buildings, roads, paths, watercourses, woodland, allotments and plot numbers, trigonometrical measurements. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. Compass star. Outlines examined and approved 10 February 1865. Deposited for inspection 25 February 1865. Signed by Charles Wood, Assistant Enclosure Commissioner, 21 March 1865. Allotments examined and approved 31 October 1865 by Lt Col George Leach and Lt Col W Lomas, Assistant Enclosure Commissioners. Approved and sealed by Sir James Caird and G Darby, Commissioners of Enclosure 10 November 1865. Stamped in the office of the Enclosure Commissioners on various dates 1863 to 1865.
