Egypt. 'Map of Beheira Desert & Wadi [el] Natrun [i.e. the Natron Lakes]': showing oases, routes and nature of the terrain. Reference table to conventional signs. By Lieutenant S J Burton and W StA Warde-Aldam, Coldstream Guards, November-December 1907. The following are affixed to the face of the map: (i) two typescript sheets of notes on the water supply, the cultivations of the country, animals, natural features, and railway and other routes; (ii) twelve photographs of houses, a factory, railway engines and rolling stock, and bridges.
