Lancashire: Liverpool. Three sheets of plans and sections relating to a new battery. (1) Two sections of the existing battery, April 1782. (2) 'Plan No:1. Shewing the Present State of the New Battery ...'. (3) two plans and a section: 'Plan No:2. Of the New Battery Shewing in Yellow the Design which the Town Prayed might be Compleated [sic]'; 'Plan No:3. Shewing in Yellow the Design for Enclosing the New Battery as stated by the Master General and Approved by His Majesty in Council'; section relating to plan number 3. Plans to scale: 1 inch to 50 feet [1:600]; sections to scale: (1) 1 inch to 20 feet [1:240], (3) 1 inch to 10 feet [1:120]. Compass indicators to items (2-3). All items drawn by William Test; signed by James Bramham, 2 May 1782. An overlay attached to the face of item (2) apparently shows a different scheme for alterations to the battery. Dimensions: (1) 26.5 cm x 137.5 cm; (2-3) each 54.5 cm x 74.5 cm.
