Hampshire. Two maps. (1) Covering the mainland coast between Hill Head [near Stubbington] and Hayling Island, with territory as far inland as Portsdown Hill, in Portchester; Spithead, showing soundings; and the Isle of Wight between King's Quay and Appley. (2) An unfinished map, covering substantially the same area as item (1), but depicting a larger area of the Isle of Wight: the coast between Cowes and Saint Helens, with territory as far inland as Newport. Scale: 4 inches to 1 mile. Compass indicators. A note to item (1) states: 'From Mr. Mackenzie, 1784'. Dimensions: (1) 96.5 cm x 106.5 cm; (2) 117 cm x 122 cm.
