Description

'A Chart of the British [i.e. English] Channel': also covering the southern portion of the North Sea, the Bristol Channel, and the Atlantic Ocean around the shores of southern Ireland, showing the nature of the sea bed, shoals, buoys, anchorages and soundings. Scale: 1 inch to about 7.75 miles. Compass stars. [By] Thomas Jeffreys, Geographer to the King; published by Laurie and Whittle, Fleet Street, 12 May 1794; dedicted by the publishers to the Directors of the United East India Company.
