Kent. Four copies of 'A Plan of the River Medway from Rochester Bridge to Sharpness Point with the Marshes and up Lands adjacent. Survey'd in the Year 1724': map also showing anchorages, batteries and soundings. Scale: 1 inch to about 800 feet. Compass indicator to each item; south at the top. Item (2) [copied] by Charles Holloway, 20 July 1796; the remainder unsigned and undated. Pencilled additions to item (1) and (3), showing [?defence lines]. The top left-hand (south-western) corner of item (3) is missing and parts of the left-hand edge of item (4) are slightly perished.
