France: Rocroi. 'Bataille de Rocroy ...': sheet bearing a view of the battle [of 19 May 1643] in progress, and a plan showing the order of battle between the French and Spanish armies. Reference table comprising an Order of Battle between the French and Spanish armies. The view is framed by an oval wreath of foliage and surmounted by a portrait of Le Grand Condé [Louis de Bourbon, Duc d'Enghien, commander of the French forces]. [By] le Sieur de Beaulieu, Engineer and Geographer; drawn by Stefano della Bella; engraved by François Colignon. The battle was part of the Thirty Years' War.
