Essex. Map of the Kings Forest or Kings Woods in Hainault Forest in the parishes of Barking and Dagenham (now both in the London Borough of Barking). Scale: 1 inch to 10 chains. Copied from the plan drawn by Joseph Pennington in 1791. Annotated (i) 'To the Honorable the Knights, Citizens and Burgesses in Parliament assembled this Plan is humbly presented with the Fifteenth Report of the Commissioners appointed to enquire into the State and Condition of the Woods, Forests and Land Revenues of the Crown', 28 March 1793; and (ii) 'Copied from the Original in the House of Commons by Robt Gray'.
