Map of the coast around Brest: 'Carte D'une partie de la Cotte de Bretagne Depuis les Roches de Porsalles jusqu'aux passages du Ras Compris,... ossi toutes les Batteries qui Sonts le Long de la Cottes... avec l'Entrée de la Rade de Brest, Celle de l'Entrée des rivierres de Chatautin du faoux et de L'anderneau avec celle du Port du Brest jusques à penfeld'. Title in rectangle with decorated border. About 1 foot to 10 miles. Compass stars and rhumb lines. Endorsed: 'Major Gen. Tho s Dundas'. As the defences include a 'batterie royale', the chart may have been drawn earlier than 1793.
