Panorama of the northern shore of the harbour, showing the coast between Fort Constantine and the Inkerman East light. Insets: sketches of the principal forts. Signed: Lieutenant Colonel E G Hallewell, Assistant Quarter Master General, 'to illustrate part of Survey by Offrs of Quartermaster Genls. Dept.'. The suggested date is taken from the War Office docket book (which was the original means of reference to the War Office maps).
