7 plans, similar to MR 1/170, of waste lands in the southern and northern portions of Epping Forest, Essex, dated 1872. The parishes of Leyton, Walthamstow, Wanstead and Woodford and the manors of Chingford Earls, Chingford St Paul, Epping, Loughton, Sewardstone, Theydon Bois and Waltham Holy Cross with Upstone are shown. Reference table to colours used. Scale: 1 inch to 13 chains. Compass indicators. Surveyed by Messrs Driver and Co in connection with the Epping Forest Commission Dimensions of sheets: (1)-(3) 98 cm x 115.5 cm; (4)-(7) 87 cm x 170.5 cm. Plan 7 is signed by Charles Wood, Chairman, John Locke, J W Perry Watlington and Henry Lord Barclay, Epping Forest Commissioners, and MS additions state that this is the plan 'referred to in the annexed Order dated 29th November 1872'.
