Maps, with coloured, MS additions, illustrating the arbitration of Sir John Taylor Coleridge of the seaward limits according to the Cornwall Submarine Mines Act, 1858 (21-22 Victoria c 109) between the Crown and the Duchy of Cornwall. (1) 'Sheet 1': parts of Ordnance Survey one-inch New Series England and Wales sheets 307, 308, 322, and 336 joined, showing the northern coast from Bideford Bay to Pentire Point. (2) 'Sheet 2': parts of 4 Admiralty charts joined, showing the Scilly Isles, the Eddystone Rocks and the Seven Stones, with a portion of Ordnance Survey one-inch New Series England and Wales sheet 335 of the area around Trevose Head. (3) 'Sheet 3': parts of Ordnance Survey one-inch New Series England and Wales sheets 346, 351, 352, 358 and 359 joined, showing the western part of Cornwall from Truro to Land's End. (4) 'Sheet 4': parts of Ordnance Survey one-inch New Series England and Wales sheets 347, 348 and 353 joined, showing the southern coast from Veryan Bay to Plymouth. Scales: (1) and (3)-(4) 1 inch to 1 mile; (2) 1 inch to 1.5 cables, 1 inch to 400 feet and 1 inch to 3 cables.
