1 extract from E 178/7153. Map of Mousehold Waste, east of Norwich, Norfolk, about 22 miles in circumference. Shows place and field names, names of tenants of doles [allotments of common] and of proprietors, rivers, roads, a windmill. Churches of neighbouring villages, principal seats, Norwich Cathedral and other buildings, city walls and gates in elevation. Extent of the liberties of Norwich and 'Free Mousehold' shown. Scale: 1 inch to 40 perches. Cardinal points. Inset table naming villages on circumference. Signed by the commissioners appointed to survey the Waste: Nathaniel Bacon, John Stubb, Israel Amyce and Edward Eliot whose Certificate (in E 178/7153) includes the statement 'plotted carefully at Norwich from the ix th of April 1589 until the xxiiii th of the same moneith'.
