County Durham: Hartlepool. Plan and sections of a proposed harbour showing proposals for breakwaters and the limits of deviation of rocks on the foreshore. Low and high tide lines, lighthouses, existing harbours, buildings on the cliffs, a sketch plan of Hartlepool and the railway are also shown. An inset shows longitudinal sections of the northern pier and the sea wall or barrier, including tide levels. Compass indicator. Scales: plan and sections 1 inch to 4 chains; inset 1 inch to 40 feet. Produced by J M Rendel, Engineer and A and R and R F Reed, Surveyors.
The piece which formerly bore map reference MR 13 (ex DL 31/99) was transferred to MPCC 1/8.
