Description

Grant by Reynold of Friday Street, vintner and citizen of London, to John le King, buthcher, of a house which he bought of Walter de Brussell, citizen of London, in the parish of St Nicholas Shambles, London, sometime of John le Gode, mercer, at the rent of a pair of gloves to the grantor, 20s to Walter de Brussell and Joan, wife of Guy, son of the said Walter, and their heirs, and 26s to the hospital of St Bartholomew, Smithfield, and for this grant John has given him £10 in hand. Witnesses:- John Adrian, mayor of London, Philip le Tailur and Walter le Poter, sheriffs of Lonodn, Anketin le Mercer, aldeman of London, and others. [54 Hen III]. Seal
