Description

Agreement between the prior and convent of Angleseye, and Robert Sterne and Matilda his wife, as to an exchange of certain lands and tenements of the said prior and convent in Haselingfeld, and certain lands, tenements, and rents of the said Robert and Matilda in Bernewell, Cambridge, and Hinton,: the said prior and convent have been demised to the said Robert and Matilda, all their lands etc. in Haselingfeld and Harleston, in exchange for a messuage with shops in Berenwell and lands in the same and in Cambridge and Hinton, part lying in Clayhangles, part by Bradmere, part in Milkfurlong, part in Coldham croft, part at Steresbr[e]g[e], part by 'le Milnesych,' abutting on Hintonmoor, part at 'le grenedych,' part abutting on Horsweye, part in Middilfeld, part above Koldham called 'Kinges acre,' part abutting on Pushilweye, part in Lawefeld, part in Hintonfeld, and part at Trumpingtonforth; also for 24s. yearly rent from premises in St Edward's parish, Cambridge, with the reversion of lands in Cambridge, Bernewell, and Hinton, part lying in Estonaldefeld, part in Milkescroft, part in Milnedych, part at Litelmore, part in Peselond, part by Hundinglond, part on 'le hill,' part in Pesefeld called 'Lekesbedde,' and part at Milneweie etc: [Cambridgeshire] Sunday after Michaelmas, 1349, 23 Edw III.
