Grant by John, son and heir of Sir Roger de Louthe, knight, of the county of Herts, to Sir Nicholas de Louthe, clerk, canon of Salisbury, and Robert de Louthe, esquire (scutifero), his brother, uncles of the grantor, of his manor in the parish of Bishops Hatfeld called 'le Hermebemgate,' with the manor of Blountes in the same parish, together with lands and rents etc. and the advowson of the chantry founded in the chapel within the parish church of Hatfeld, and with all other appurtenances as well in Esynden as in Hatfeld aforesaid; also further grant of all the lands and tenements etc. belonging to the grantor after the death of dame Amice de Louthe, his mother, in Enefeld and Hatfeld at 'le Neugate.'
