Grant by Robert Shipley of Coventre, merchant, William Shipley, clerk, and Robert Benet of Coventre, to Thomas de Meryngton and Margery his wife, of a yearly rent issuing out of certain lands and tenements in Gryve [Griff], Coton, Astele [Astley] and Brompcote [Bramcote], with licence to distrain, in case of non-payment of the said rent, among other premises on a messuage in 'la Westorcharde.' [Coventry] [Warwickshire] Michaelmas, 8 Henry IV.Two seals.
