Description

Final agreement between Augustine, the abbot, and the convent of Quarr, and William, son of William Randulf; whereby the latter releases to the abbot all his right in the ditch made between the land of Cumblye Grange and William's land, reserving the use of the water in the ditch to water his cattle, etc. Witnesses:- Master Thomas Crispin, Hugh le Flemeng, and others (named): [Isle of Wight] Monday after the Purification, 1249. Seal, broken.
