Description

This series contains entry books of correspondence regarding the colonies but not usually directed to the governors. Entries include instructions, petitions, grants and letters (many of a private and unofficial nature). Early volumes contain both incoming and outgoing correspondence but later volumes only outgoing. Includes Board of Trade records for the earlier period.
