Description

Grantor: John de Styvecle.

Grantee: William Lasselles the elder, esquire, and William Lasselles, clerk.

Subject: Grant of his interest in the manor and advowson of Shillington which John Lincoln, clerk, held from Ramsey Abbey, and (Edmund Elvyngton, abbot) which afterwards the abbey demised to Sir Roger Walden, clerk, then Treasurer of England, John his brother, and Andrew Newport, for fifty years, which John Walden, having the sole interest, granted it to the said John de Styvecle, who, after the death of Henry Hamerton, Rector of the church, presented William Lasselles now rector.
