Parties: Sir George Douglas, kt., and George Douglas, esq., his son and heir. James I. Place or Subject: Surrender of Letters Patent of 25 July 4 James I granting them a half part of all fines imposed on clothworkers, etc., for pressing cloth with hot presses instead of cold, as laid down by Act of Parliament, 5 Edward VI.
