Description

Parties: Christopher Driffield of Ripon co. Yorks., esq., and Robert Raikes of Northallerton co. Yorks., gent. Thomas Craven of Ripon, alderman AND William Turbutt of Mount St. Johns co. Yorks., gent. Place or Subject: Lease to Craven of the tithes of corn and hay arising in Sutton under Whitestone Cliffe co. Yorks., 21 years; 20 l. p.a.; on condition that he will surrender the lease if at any time Driffield and Baikes wish to renew their lease of the manor of the hospital of St. John of Jerusalem of which the tithes are part and parcel. Yorks.
