Description

Parties: John Hall, a cupbearer in ordinary to the King. Robert, Earl of Salisbury, Lord High Treasurer and Sir Julius Caesar, knight, Chancellor. Place or Subject: Agreement for the issue of Letters Patent which will grant to John Hall all the goods and chattels real and personal, of: Sir Everard Digby of Cothurst, Buckinghamshire, knight; John Grant of Norbrooke [Northbrook], Warwickshire, esquire; Ambrose Fookwood of Stanningfield, Suffolk, esquire; Robert Wynter of Huddington, Worcestershire, esquire; Robert Catesby of Bethnal Green, Middlesex, esquire; Francis Trasham of Rushton, Northanptonshire, esquire; Thomas Percy of Alnwick, Northumberland, gentleman; Henry Garnet, clerk; and John Wynter, Thomas Wynter, John Wright, Christopher Wright, Raphe Ashby, Henry Morgan and Robert Keyes, of London, gentlemen; Humphrey Littleton of Frankley, Worcestershire, gentleman; Stephen Littleton of Holbach, Staffordshire, gentleman; Lodewick Grant of Horbrooke, Warwickshire, gentleman; and John Perks, yeoman, which had accrued to the King by reason of attainders, outlawries, convictions or forfeitures; on condition that when Hall has received 7000 l he will surrender the Letters Patent.
