West Europe: Defence Area 4 orders anti-aircraft measures, Apr 23; battle HQ of Wehrmacht moves from Zossen to Menz, Apr 24; Kesselring instructs 12th Army to thrust northeast towards Berlin, Apr 24; Army Group G orders subordinate to maintain contact with 12th Army left wing, Apr 23; Kesselring orders 19th Army to defend sector from Guenzburg to Lake Constance, Apr 24; 11th Panzer Division unable to attack due to lack of fuel and forces, Apr 24.

Germany: subordination of 300 anti-tank units to be set up by navy, Apr 23; six Hitler Youth ant-tank brigades being sent to 1st and 7th Armies, Apr 23; Army Group G orders Danube crossings to be prepared for demolition, Apr 24; Armaments Inspectorate 17report crude oil supply assured for six weeks, Apr 20.
