Western Europe: strength returns for 9 units of Army Group B as at Mar 24; KG 53, a unit which had been employed in launching V-1's against England, was to be disbanded on or shortly after Mar 31; Hitler orders 14th SS Ukrainian Division in northern Yugoslavia to be disbanded and its equipment transfered to C-in-C West, Mar 28; Chief of General Staff General Krebs appointed by Hitler to also take on duties of General Guderian, Deputy Chief of General Staff, while Guderian on leave, Mar 31.
