Description

West Europe: Allied reinforcements crossing Remagen bridges, GAF to attack on Mar 12; GAF report on strengthening of Remagen bridge, Mar 11; ground situation, Mar 11; 2nd Parachute Corps intention to hold Wesel bridgehead, Mar 8; Hitler authorises pulling back from three bridgeheads, Mar 11; 13,000 Soviet prisoners, voluntary assistant candidates being brought up to front, Mar 6; GAF operations not possible due to destruction of Lippe and Breitscheid airfields; coming swimming saboteur operations to be treated with utmost secrecy, Mar 5 and 8, PM presumes Eisenhower informed.

South Europe: naval small battle units to raid prepare for commando raids against Ancona harbour and airfield on Mar 12.

East Europe: Hitler's HQ orders reduction in transportation of refugees because of military situation, Mar 5; Army Group North expects Soviet attack to split 4th Army bridgehead; Fuehrer forbids 2nd Army to withdraw, Mar 10; 2nd Army holding off Soviet attacks, Mar 10.
