Western Europe: 67th Army Corps report for Oct 30, Rosendaal and Oosterhout in Allied hands; 88th Corps to withdraw to north of Maas while holding bridgeheads south of river; road bridge Moerdijk undamaged in air raid but rail bridge hit, rail bridge Zaltbommel destroyed by artillery fire.
Southern Europe: 34th Infantry Division withdrawal, 356th Infantry Division blocked small Allied penetration after violent fighting; readjustment of Corps boundaries on Adriatic coast.
Naval Headlines: Hitler's HQ assess Soviet operations in northern area aimed at break through towards Narvik, infer possible Allied attempt to forestall this by sea and air landings in Narvik area; Vardoe evacuated and installations to destroyed; Army H Group intention to evacuate south Scheldt bridgehead if still possible; installations at Flushing destroyed but fishing harbour still intact; two Japanese submarines to operate in Bay of Bengal; Japanese report large Allied surface force off east coast of Luzon, expect further landings in the area; Japanese hospital ship due Brunei to take on casualties.
