Western Europe: 84th Corps to withdraw on its northern sector overnight July 13/14; fighting power of 84th Corps in St Lo - Carentan area so reduced that units would be unable to hold out against future Allied pressure, July 14; elements of all 3 regiments of 5th Parachute Division operating on western sector of Normandy Front as at July 14, unit previously in eastern Brittany; GAF units in Germany to transfer some 25,000 men to German Army, July 13.
Southern Europe: withdrawal by 16th SS Panzer Grenadier Division in Italy, Front line now running from Poggibonsi to the Leghorn area, July 13; further withdrawals on main Italian Front by 26th Panzer Division and 14th Panzer Corps, July 13; GAF summary for July 13 including results of Allied air raids against Venice and Verona.
