Southern Europe: two GAF situation reports on Salerno Front for Sept 21; part of Mermann Goering Division to withdraw slightly during night of Sept 21; withdrawal of 1st Parachute Division, Sept 21; 2nd Air Corps had insufficient forces to provide aircover, Sept 21; details of German forward defence line in Corsica on Sept 21; situation reports for Corsica and Sardinia for Sept 20 and 21. including 3000 men transported by air from Corsica to Italy.
Russian Front: considerable damage to bauxite port of Ploce, near Split, Sept 19.
