Southern Europe: GAF plans for Italy, Sept 18; indications of move of Flak forces to northern Italy, Sept 19; 22nd Flak Brigade requests withdrawal of heavy batteries should not take place for time being, Sept 19; all aircraft flying over northern Italy to drop leaflets over large towns, Sept 18; two blocking lines being constructed by Germans in southern Italy, Sept 18; completion of details of Herman Goering Division's new defensive position, Sept 20; 29th Panzer Division situation report of Sept 19 including admittance of heavy losses in men and material; first indication that 90th Panzer Grenadier Division is being subordinated to Army Group B, Sept 18; German 14th Corps situation report for Sept 18 described fuel as very strained; 10th Army estimate Allied losses at Salerno, failed Allied objective and renewal of Allied attacks expected, Sept 18; evacuation of Teora intended, apparently by Sept 22; orders for transfer of Flak forces from Foggia to northern Italy, Sept 18; reference to German officer commanding 1st Italian Air Fleet, Sept 19.

South-east Europe: German war correspondents to refrain from attacking Italian royal house, and to provide photographs of Italians who join German troops, Sept 13.
