Southern Europe: 26th Panzer Division regrouping in Catanzaro area, July 24; Reggio and Leghorn to send by ferry goods only, not motor transport or troops, July 26; morale of Italian forces in Aegean lowered by Allied landings in Sicily, July 13; situation report on Sicily for July 25, Allies attacking with superior forces along north coast; 15th Panzer Division report tank losses, July 21; 2nd Air Fleet operational orders for July 27, to prevent Allied landings on Sicilian and Calabrian coasts; German CinC South-East assesses 60 to 70% of Allied shipping in Mediterranean available for purposes other than invasion of Sicily, July 19; heavy bombers to attack Allied landing attempts, north coast Sicily, July 26.
