Description

Southern Europe: Kesselring orders that 29th Regiment be sent to Sicily as soon as possible, July 18; situation report on July 18 including large concentration of German bombers in Foggia area; strength of 15th Panzer Grenadier and Hermann Goering Divisions on July 9; 14th Panzer Corps intelligence appreciated July 18 weakening of Allied offensive intentions at Catania; gliders of 2nd Air Landing Geshwader in use for flights to Sicily, July 20.

South-east Europe and Russian Front: Soviet offensive as explained to King Boris, July 21; 4th Air Fleet's operations on July 20 mainly on Mius and Donetz fronts.
