South Europe: orders for GAF attacks in Sicily on July 12; Trapani reports attack imminent, July 12; Trapani reverts to lower state of readiness, July 12; Italian E-boats to attack Allies off Cape Passero on July 12; Axis air force claims of shipping sunk off Sicily, July 11; GAF aircraft destroyed in Allied raid on probably Trapani, July 11; Fortress Battalion has not transferred to Sicily, July 10; security at Ottana airfield, Sardinia, to be tightened after sabotage, July 11.

South-east Europe: arrangement to ship Italian troops to Crete, July 11; friction between Italian and Bulgarian forces in Yugoslavia, June 29.
