South Europe: Italians estimate Allies have capability to ship 10 divisions, July 7; GAF sight Allied naval force off Licata, special vigilance, July 7; GOC Armed Forces Sicily to supply troops for repair of GAF runways after Allied attacks, July 7; 9 British soldiers captured on Sardinia, July 7; GAF reconnaissance shows that Bizerta has shipping for three and a half landing divisions, July 6.
South-east Europe: Germans to begin building up stocks of armour piercing ammunition in Greece, in view of difficult transport situation, July 2.
Mediterranean: GAF reconnaissance of Sfax harbour, July 6; GAF operational station command to transfer from southern Russian Front to Athens, July 4; younger officers to be used in operations against partisans, July 3.
North-west Europe: GAF to conduct photo-reconnaissance of assembly areas for ships in Scotland and Iceland on July 8.
