Description

South Europe: Kesselring expects Allied offensive, all troops to be ready, July 7; arrangements for blocking Trapani and Marsala harbours, July 5-6; night fighters to operate over 1000 metres in anti-aircraft artillery zones, July 6; 3 English parachutists captured in Sardinia, July 7; GAF Sardinia fighter unit serviceability return, July 6.

South-east Europe: German complaint that rail transport to Salonika is not up to programme, July 1; C-in-C Southeast's requirement for additional army troops, July 3; C-in-C Southeast day report for July 4.

Southern Russian Front: GAF support attack of SS Panzer Corps with over 1200 sorties, July 6.
