Description

South Europe: air raids on Messina, July 5 and 7; GAF to return armour piercing ammunition from Sardinia to Italy, July 7; GAF Sardinia fighters short of aviation fuel, July 7; German E-boats to be prepared for night landings from Bizerta, July 6; GAF heavy fighter unit to transfer from Sicily to north Germany, July 6.

Mediterranean: GAF reconnaissance of Allied shipping at Bizerta, July 5.

South-east Europe: Italian Brennero Division to transfer from Greece to Albania on July 7; C-in-C Southeast evening report for July 1.

Germany: Spanish bomber crews to be attached to GAF training unit on July 8.

Russian Front: GAF fighter unit claims world record number of victories, July 5.
