German Air Ministry: circular of Apr 13, breakdowns in aircraft production had lead to certain GAF fighter types being sent to units without or with only partial armour plating, cockpit diagrams would indicate where armour was missing.
North Africa: combat plans for Tunis Air Corps for night of Apr 23/24, 50-60 aircraft to attack Allied forces in vicinity of front line in Medjez El Bab area; GAF torpedo aircraft at increased readiness to attack Allied naval forces in Strait of Sicily, Apr 22.
